Women and Youth

Our Societies are secure as their most vulnerable members – UNWomen. In South Africa especially, women had historically endured the burden of triple oppression, and they continue to face a variety of discrimination actions including Gender Based Violence. At Alfeco Foundation we recognise the important role that women can and should play in achieving a well-rounded sustainable development, a peaceful and resilient societies. Women and Youth empowerment is a cause we are committing to promote and remains critical in reversing the scourge of poverty, unemployment and in equality. The Alfeco Foundation has numerous efforts on the go simultaneously and on various fronts in developing young people for the challenges of the future.
