Education and Development

For this academic year (2023/2024) the foundation has issued more than 260 bursaries to a diverse demographic group of students at all levels of study.
The Alfeco Foundation subscribes to Nelson Mandela’s vision for a new South Africa. In communities our operations implement a “Local Needs Based Education and Development Programmes”. These may range from Early Childhood Development through enabling Adult Basic Education and Training learner material to skills development.
For sustainable development of Local Economies, the Alfeco Foundation believes that Skills Development must first meet the needs of the local economy in addition to be being universal. The Alfeco Foundation will work with local Further Education and Training Centres, other skills training centres that share our philosophy to implement programmes responding to community needs.
